Layered Fault Tolerance

Hardware failures, storage corruption, and processing anomalies are anticipated and handled at each architectural layer — not caught after the fact, but planned for from the start. No single component failure propagates to a full system outage. Degraded-mode operation is defined and documented for every failure scenario, rather than left to chance.

N+1 Redundancy

Critical components are engineered to the N+1 principle: for every unit of required capacity, at least one additional redundant unit stands ready. If a component fails, redundancy takes over seamlessly while the failed unit is replaced or repaired — without operation needing to stop.

What This Means in the Field

In the current production deployment, no unplanned downtime has been recorded so far. All maintenance events were planned and executed within windows the Neuronal Core itself had identified in advance — a result of the combination of resilience architecture and predictive anomaly detection, not any single mechanism alone.
